Obi-Igbo Aims and Objectives

Aims:
1. To promote and preserve Igbo culture, traditions, and heritage among Igbo communities in the Diaspora, particularly in Germany.
2. To serve as a unifying platform that fosters solidarity, cultural exchange, and collaboration among Igbo people abroad.
3. To raise awareness and appreciation of Igbo cultural practices through events, outreach programs, and educational initiatives.
4. To support the socio-economic development of Igbo communities in the Diaspora and Nigeria, strengthen their cultural identity.

Objectives:
1. To organize and coordinate Igbo cultural festivals, traditional activities, and educational workshops across Germany, particularly in Frankfurt am Main
2. To establish networks and partnerships with other cultural organizations, NGOs, and institutions to promote Igbo heritage.
3. To provide a platform for Igbo artists, performers, and cultural practitioners to showcase their talents.
4. To facilitate dialogue and solidarity among Igbo diaspora members, fostering a sense of community and shared identity.
5. To promote the teaching and learning of the Igbo language, history, and cultural values among younger generations.
6. To engage in outreach activities that highlight the rich cultural contributions of the Igbo people to the wider society.
7. To support initiatives that aid the socio-economic growth of Igbo communities and preserve their cultural legacy for future generations.
